The Looking Forward Head Support Band™ and the Looking Forward Head Support Cap™ System is a comprehensive device that will enable the wearer to lift their head with less effort, into a more upright and comfortable position. Activities such as eating and socializing are made more enjoyable and natural and a greater sense of freedom and independence is achieved.

One is able to walk around freely and does not have to be confined to a chair or sitting position to wear the Looking Forward Head Support Band™ or the Looking Forward Head Support Cap™ system. A better sense of balance may also be felt while wearing the Looking Forward.

Our model has Parkinson’s Disease. The Parkinson’s Disease has effected his neck muscles to the point where he is no longer able to lift his head on his own. His head falls forward in a manner that is typical of dropped head syndrome. Maintaining eye contact, eating, driving, watching tv, using the computer, walking safely, all these daily activities are restricted due to his dropped head. When he wears his Looking Forward Head Support Band™ (or his Looking Forward Head Support Cap™), his head is raised and these daily activities become possible.

The Looking Forward Head Support Band™ is easy to use and comfortable to wear for hours at a time. Drape the band down the back, crossing the ends while pulling downward toward the hips. Bring the ends forward to the chest and close the velcro in front. Lift the band to the forehead and the head is raised. The elastic material and the velco overlap mean the Looking Forward Head Support Band™ fits a wide range of chest sizes. The Looking Forward Head Support Cap™ system works in a similar manner.
