Caring for the Looking Forward Cap™
Wash the Looking Forward Cap™ gently, by hand, in warm water using a mild soap. Please avoid soaking the brim. Drip dry.
* With use, a slight stretching of the Looking Forward Head Band and Cap Strap is possible. It will not alter it’s effectiveness.
How low should the Looking Forward band or Cap Band be crossed behind the neck?
Crossing the band lower or higher will determine the head lift for your individual need.
The Looking Forward band is designed so that you can wear it at your personal comfort level to achieve best head lift. By experimenting with how low on the back or how high behind the neck you cross the band you will find your most beneficial lifting of the head.
Where should be Looking Forward Head Band or Cap Band be secured?
Each person is built differently. Most will find that the best head lift and most comfort is achieved by securing the band at the rib cage below the bust-line. Should you get better head lift (or have more comfort) by securing the band lower, at the waist, you may certainly do so.
* Wearing a light tee shirt or under garment under your Looking Forward Head Band or Cap Strap is recommended.
For how long should I wear the Looking Forward Head Band or Looking Forward Cap™ ?
You may wear the Band or Cap as long as you feel comfortable. We suggest that you begin wearing the band (or cap) for 1/2 to 1 hour a few times a day, increasing the time as you feel comfortable. When you have reached a comfort level of 3 to 4 hours wearing time, you may remove the band for a 1/2 hour and then continue to wear it as long you are comfortable.
If you experience any discomfort, remove the band or cap and re-adjust it for your personal comfort.
*We do not recommend that you sleep wearing the Looking Forward Head Band or the Looking Forward Cap.
